Welcome to the 2025 Battle of the Borderland Band Contest!
We're giving bands the chance to play the final spot at Borderland Festival 2025 in East Aurora, NY this September 12-14!
Follow the steps below, get those votes and make your way through three rounds of competition culminating in a Finals show at Buffalo Iron Works in Buffalo, NY on Thursday August 14th where the 4 finalists will play to see who takes the crown of the Battle of the Borderland and wins a slot at Borderland Festival 2025!

ROUND 3:
Four Finalists Play the Finals Showcase at Buffalo Iron Works
(6:30PM on Thursday, August 14th in Buffalo, NY)

2. Social Post & Submission Votes
Step 1:
Share a photo of YOUR BAND *AND* this Borderland graphic (Click HERE to Download) together in a post on your Facebook, Instagram or X account pages (more posts = more votes).
Encourage your fans to comment, share and like the post to maximize engagement and get the most votes.
PRO TIP: Reshare the original post a couple times while Round 1 is still open - but remember, votes are only counted on the original post.

Step 2:
Direct fans your fans to submit your band name on our Battle of the Borderland Vote page. Each submission from one person = one vote.

After the first round - we will tally up engagement based on comments, like and shares of your social post as well as the number of votes via submission and the top 15 bands will make it to the next round.
